The No. 1 baseball team in the country, the Oregon State Beavers, is tearing up the college baseball world.
The Beavers have now won 15 consecutive games with their most recent series sweep coming over the weekend. Oregon State completed their most impressive feat of the season by sweeping No. 9 Arizona.
On Friday night, Oregon State opened the homestand with a 4-3 walk off win as KJ Harrison hit a single that brought in Adley Rutschman. The Beavs won on a walkoff Saturday night as well.
A wild pitch brought home Preston Jones, who was on second base. Sunday's matchup against Arizona was a blowout with Oregon State crushing the Wildcats by the tune of 11-7 (AZ scored four runs in the 7th inning, making the score seem closer than it was).
Oregon State has notched their 20th win of the season, and their lone loss of the season came against Ohio State in Surprise, Arizona back in February. Two days after that loss, Oregon State avenged the defeat by knocking off the Buckeyes, 5-1.
The Beavers have a one-game series against St. Mary's on Tuesday and then stay in California for a series with Stanford, the No. 12 team in the nation.
