The TMP Elite 7v7 team gets a lot of attention when it comes to Oregon State, but they're not the only 7v7 program that has recruits involved with the Beavers.

The Washington-based 7v7 team named Team FSP had several recruits in attendance for Oregon State's spring game last Saturday. Talented wide receivers such as Mason Starling, Anthony Stell, and Daniel Aries were on campus.

Tight end Jarrell Anderson from Spanaway (Wash.) Bethel School was also in Corvallis for a visit from Team FSP.

"I want to say this is my third time going down there, and this visit was more about seeing the facilities in everything and seeing the new players," Anderson said.

A big part of the visit for Anderson and the other tight ends was their meeting with tight ends coach Dave Baldwin.

"The two tight ends coaches - Wozniak and Baldwin - were telling all of the tight ends that they may take two [tight ends] or they may take one," Anderson said. "Our senior highlight tapes will basically decide which tight ends they offer.

"Since we were all at the junior day, I feel like everyone wanted to be the tight end that gets the offer. Him saying that shocked some people, because you don't expect a coach to say that. Coach Baldwin is an honest person.

Anderson hopes that Oregon State offers him a scholarship, and from what he saw on the field, he thinks he can fit in well in offensive coordinator Kevin McGiven's offense.

"It was nice to see how the tight ends played," Anderson said. "Coach Baldwin was saying how they have to be versatile and play in the backfield. Also, Isaiah Hodgins starting in the spring game as a true freshman is nice to see."

What would the offer mean for Anderson?

"It would be my first Power Five offer and from a college town that's relatively close to my area," he answered. Oregon State has been talking to me since my freshman year, so it would be huge."

Anderson noted that Cal has been expressing a lot of interest, but Oregon State is recruiting him the hardest amongst the schools that have not yet offered.

Oregon State did dish out a new tight end offer during the spring game weekend as Spencer Webb announced that he landed an offer from the Beavers.
