* BIGGEST RISERS *
David Morris - NR to No. 3
- Finished second on the team in tackles. Had a very strong true freshman season. Future of the Beavers defense.
Noah Togiai - No. 10 to No. 4
- Leading receiver and very good blocking tight end. Togiai's best football is ahead of him.
Jonathan Willis - NR to No. 5
- A guy we definitely should have had in the preseason Top 20. Fourth on the team in tackles, tied for first in tackles for loss. Set for a big senior season.
Thomas Tyner - No. 19 to No. 7
- Didn't have a game with more than 10 carries all season long but did the most of his opportunities.
Timmy Hernandez - NR to No. 14
- The most underrated football player on the team. Technician of a wide receiver, very good route runner, great hands.
Isaiah Hodgins - NR to No. 15
- Pretty good showing for his true freshman season. Bright future ahead of him if the Beavers can develop their passing attack.
(Also added to the top 20 that were not on the preseason list: Shawn Wilson, Tuli Wily-Matagi, Omar Hicks-Onu, Kalani Vakameilalo)
* BIGGEST FALLERS *
Xavier Crawford - No. 3 to No. 9
- Only played in five games but didn't live up to expectations when he did play. Still a top player on the team.
Bright Ugwoegbu - No. 4 to No. 12
- Just 1.5 sacks and 4.5 tackles for loss. Not a very productive season but also, Clune had him in pass coverage way too much.
Brandon Arnold - No. 5 to NR
- Yikes.
Craig Evans - No. 11 to NR
- Double yikes. Evans couldn't get academically eligible and never saw the field.
Jordan Villamin - No. 12 to NR
- Disappointing end to his career after promising freshman and sophomore seasons. OSU just couldn't get the ball downfield to Villamin the last two seasons where he's at his best.
Andrzej Hughes-Murray - No. 15 to NR
- Started in just four games. Didn't have the impact we thought he would have.
(Other players that dropped out of the Top 20: Hamilcar Rashed, Titus Failauga, Jay Irvine, Marcus McMaryion)
