The Oregon State Beavers took to the practice field at the Prothro Practice Fields/Merrit Truax Indoor Center for the first time in 2024 for the first spring football practice of the Trent Bray era.

- The first day of practice wasn’t super intense as the team was installing schemes for the offensive, defensive, and special teams.

FULL REPORT

- Bray mentioned that this spring ball would have a longer install period than in years past due to the fact that they’re introducing a new scheme and have a lot of newcomers.

- The main focal points of today’s practice were punt coverage work, individual work, installs, 5’s on 5’s, 7 on 7’s, and some 11 on 11’s.

- Grant Starck, Jacob Anderson, and Colorado transfer Van Wells were along the first-team offensive line.

- Thomas Collins, Nick Norris, DJ Wesolak, and Olu Omotosho rotated through the defensive line in practice.
