Three linebackers no longer with Oregon State per latest roster update

Four members of the Oregon State football program who were expected to be on the team's 2024 roster are no longer with the program according to the latest roster update available online.

Redshirt senior linebacker Cory Stover, redshirt junior tight end Malik Kelley, redshirt senior linebacker Micahel Erhart and redshirt junior linebacker Porter Phillips are all no longer with the program. The join the previously reported departure of defenisve back Wynston Russell.

Stover was a three-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting cycle out of Marshfield in Coos Bay. He committed to the Beavers at the time over an offer from California.

For the Beavers, he palyed in 42 games, totaling 62 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. He also had one pass deflection, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Kelley, a walk-on as part of the 2020 recruitign class leaves Corvallis after appearing in seven games as a Beaver.

Erhart was a two-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting cycle with offers from mostly FCS programs but did have notable offers from Air Force, Army, Navy, and Utah State. He appeared in 25 games with the Beavers, ercording five career tackles.

Porter Phillips, another walk-on in the 2020 recruiing cyle did not appear in any games for the program over his four years in Corvallis.
