Whether it be due to coach's decision, injury, or just a lack of making plays, there have been several Oregon State football players that have been "missing in action" this season.

OLB Bright Ugwoegbu

After recording 11 TFL's and 5.5 sacks in a season that was cut short due to injury, Ugwoegbu was expected to have a big impact this season for the Beavers. But that just hasn't happened yet.

Ugwoegbu has yet to tackle the opposition in the backfield yet and is averaging 4.5 tackles per game. It seems that Kevin Clune is dropping him back in coverage a good bit, which explains why his pass rushing stats are down, but Ugwoegbu isn't doing much of anything. The only stat other than tackles he's recorded is one fumble recovery against Minnesota.
