It didn't take long for Napa (Calif.) Justin-Siena quarterback Aidan Willard to make a decision after picking up his first PAC 12 scholarship offer late last week. On Monday, Willard pulled the trigger and committed to Oregon State, putting to rest his recruitment prior to his senior year.
"It felt right to make a decision now and I love Corvallis," Willard told BeaverBlitz on Monday evening.
“I threw for them on Thursday and they offered after that and I'm very high on them and have been forever because both my parents went there and I grew up going to games up there and always was a huge Beaver fan,” Willard told Rivals.com's Adam Gorney.
Gorney, who watched Willard compete at theRivals Five Star Quarterback Challenge (Los Angeles Regional) had high praise for the pro-style gunslinger.
"He was pretty good," Gorney said. "He made all the throws and has a good arm."
The 6-foot-2, 185 pound quarterback chose Oregon State over offers from Cincinnati, New Mexico, Hawaii, and Toledo and he was picking up additional interest from other schools in the PAC 12.
