Oregon State Football Target Profile: QB Luke Moga

A fast riser - Moga has had a big offseason and has seen his recruitment explode. After being seeing a mixture of Group of Five and Power Five offers, the Phoenix (AZ) native now holds nearly a dozen and a half Power Five offers and has moved his way into the top 30 quarterbacks in the nation.

This past season, Moga completed 134-of-283 passing attempts for Sunnyslop for 2,258 yards and 26 touchdowns to eight interceptions. It was his first season as the starting quarterback for the program after serving as a backup as a sophomore.

While listed as a pro-style quarterback, Moga can escape the pocket and take off; he had 62 carries for 539 yards and five touchdowns this past season. He also has a reported 40-yard dash of 4.52 and a 100-m dash of 10.93; the speed and athleticism are there for him to be a dangerous dual-threat quarterback, a big reason a lot of programs have extended offers even though his passing abilities still need work.
