- The Beavers are meeting the Golden Gophers for the 13th time all-time, and first since 2019. OSU leads the all-time series, 9-3, and is on an eight-game win streak.
- The Beavers and Golden Gophers met twice in 2019, and once in Surprise, a 13-1 OSU win. The teams met again at Safeco Field in Seattle, a 2-1 OSU win that was highlighted by an Adley Rutschman two-run home run.
