NEW!!! BEAVERBLITZ.com Recruiting War Room
Rivals readers are invited to use the War Room to more easily track and investigate recruiting. BeaverBlitz wanted to create a webpage devoted specifically to fans of Oregon State, and this project began a month ago. The OSU Recruiting War Room provides the hard-core fan with a central place to receive or locate information. The following documentation describes what can be found deep within the confines of this room.

The most popular feature on BeaverBlitz is the Biogeek Locker Room. Obviously the link is prominently displayed at the top of The Lodge, but it’s also the primary link in the War Room. The 2004 and 2005 versions will be accessible from the War Room.
Another prominent feature is the “recruiting spotlight” which highlights a recruit each week. The player featured on the television is generally someone who is coming for a surprise visit, has recently had an in-home visit, could be ready to verbal, or is a sleeper that the Beavers have uncovered. It basically tells Oregon State fans to keep an eye on this individual over the coming weeks.
The recruiting spotlight is supported by the Beaver Blitz Radar. This list contains many of the top recruits that are coming close to milestones in their recruitment, whether it’s positive news or bad reviews. This dynamic list is updated weekly as recruiting heats up, and it could be updated more often in January/February.
One of the best new features is the regional coach tracker. It shows what regions the coaches are recruiting based on historical and current trends. This will be updated as necessary. It covers the entire United States.
There is also a BeaverBlitz Recruiting Dictionary. Many of the terms are specific to the website, and several of the classic geekisms, common concepts, and confusing terms are included. Definitions will be added over time to incorporate The Lodge specific lingo.
Currently there isn’t a better home base for Oregon State Football recruiting on the Internet. We highly encourage readers to use the War Room because it will have pages that explain academics, easy access to Rivals recruiting links, Rivals Team Rankings, visit dates, recruiting calendars, Nike Camp exclusives, and the brand new All-Media Pass… Obviously there are easy searches available for the database too.
