Hayward (Calif.) Moreau Catholic running back Adi Anderson was one of many recruits that was in the Beaver State last week to take in visits at Oregon State and Oregon.
With Oregon State, Anderson has received interest from wide receivers coach and northern California recruiter Kefense Hynson, but he had not spoken with OSU's running backs coach until he stepped foot in Corvallis.
"I felt at home at Oregon State," Anderson said. "I love the coaches. They seem really interested in me, and I got coach [Michael] Pitre's contact information. We're going to be in contact a lot. I loved it all at Oregon State."
Similarly to his Oregon State visit, Anderson also got to speak with UO's running backs coach for the first time.
"That was fantastic. It was really beautiful," Anderson said of his Oregon visit. "I met their running backs coach also, coach [Jim] Mastro, and I got his information also. We talked a little bit.
The 5-foot-10, 203-pound 2019 prospect holds early offers from Howard, San Jose State, and Wyoming.
He hopes to add Oregon State to his offer list.
"That would mean a lot to me," he said. "Everybody's dream school is usually the University of Oregon, but Oregon State -- I've always loved them since I was a kid."
