Quarterback Gabarri Johnson had the throw of the day as he scored the first touchdown on the day for either team, connecting with wide receiver Trent Walker for an eight-yard touchdown pass. Johnson showcased his scrambling ability to keep the play alive and found Walker all alone in the endzone as Mason White, who was in coverage, slipped at the top of Walker’s route.

- John Miller came up with the play of the spring game, stepping in front of a Gevani McCoy pass for the only interception of the day. The LSU transfer Tygee Hill did a nice job dropping off his rush, reading the eyes of McCoy, and tipping the ball just enough for Miller to get his hands on it.
