Oregon State is having their Spring Football Game on Saturday, and there are five players that might emerge that had little or no roles on the field in 2016.
Every day this week leading up to Saturday's spring game, we'll give you a player that we're going to be watching closely.
No. 5 Kee Whetzel
The sunshine state standout was injured with an AC joint sprain in his shoulder before the first game of the season in 2016, so Whetzel took a redshirt year.
Whetzel was being recruited by schools early on back in the class of 2016 as a wide receiver, but then more schools started to like him as a versatile 3-4 outside linebacker or a long, lengthy safety.
After an January official visit to the more local option in UCF, Whetzel named the Knights the leader in his recruitment, and it looked like Whetzel would end up committing to UCF.
