The Oregon State Women's Basketball Team is moving on to the semifinals of the Pac-12 Tournament after defeating California 65-49 on Friday afternoon.
OSU's star senior guard Sydney Wiese led OSU with 26 points and led all players with 39 total minutes played.
Guard Mikayla Pivec added 17 points and eight rebounds and center Marie Gulich added 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the floor.
Oregon State will play the winner of the UCLA-Arizona State game on Saturday at 6pm PT. The Pac-12 Championship Game will be on Sunday at 6pm PT.

SEATTLE, Wash. – Senior guard Sydney Wiese opened her final Pac-12 Tournament in style Friday afternoon, scoring 26 points to lift the No. 6/6 Oregon State women's basketball team to a 65-49 win over California.
"Today I was just really proud of our team," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "Cal came into this game with momentum. We faced some adversity today, but every time they made a run at us, we were able to answer back. This was a great team win today, and our defense was phenomenal. Really proud of the effort and happy with the win."
Wiese finished the game one point short of her career-high, shooting 7-for-13 from the field and 8-for-9 from the free throw stripe. The senior also pulled down six rebounds and dished out six assists.
Freshman Mikayla Pivec hit three of her four 3-point attempts to end the afternoon with 17 points and eight rebounds, as she made an impressive return to her hometown. Junior Marie Gulich scored all 12 of her points in the second half, going 4-for-6 from the floor.
As a team, the Beavers shot 42.3 percent, while holding California to 32.3 percent. Oregon State never trailed in the contest.
Oregon State got off to a fast start, scoring the first nine points of the game, with seven of those coming from Wiese. The Beavers would extend the lead to 13-4, before Cal battled back to get within six at 13-7. Oregon State ended the first quarter on a 7-0 run to take a 20-7 advantage into the second period.
The Beavers would add three more points out of the quarter break to go in front by 16, but Cal would answer with 12 unanswered points to get the score back to 23-19. Oregon State surged in the closing minutes of the half to take a 33-24 lead into the locker room.
The teams traded punches to start the third quarter, as Oregon State continued to keep the Golden Bears at bay. The Beavers would score the final six points of the frame to head to the closing period up 50-36.
California refused to go away in the fourth quarter, getting back within eight with four minutes to play. The Beavers would again respond, taking the win by 16.
Oregon State will play in the semifinal of the Pac-12 Tournament on Saturday at 6 p.m.
