Quarterback

Conor Blount 6’1 202 RS-Sophomore

Mason Moran 6’3 196 RS-Sophomore

Aidan Willard 6’2 188 RS-Freshman

Jake Luton 6’7 234 RS-Senior* (Hasn’t received medical clearance)

The biggest priority of Smith will be finding a quarterback who can run his offense which features multiple formations. The question mark among this group is Jake Luton, who may or may not be able to play football at OSU again. If he’s cleared, he’s the frontrunner in my opinion, due to his physical stature and arm strength. If not, I’d give the nod to either Blount or Willard, who showed promise in practice over the course of the season. This is going to be an area where Smith, who is known as a quarterback whisperer, will have to work his magic for the Beavers to be successful in the immediate future.
