Clackamas wide receiver Cole Turner stopped in at Corvallis on Tuesday to check out Oregon State with his mother. Turner's last time on campus was last month when he landed an offer from the Beavs after he impressed at their prospect camp.

"It was good," Turner said about his Tuesday visit. "I went there mostly so my mom could see the campus and meet all of the coaches. We also checked out practice."

Turner and his mother enjoyed their time at Oregon State.

"She really likes it," Turner said. "It's close to home; I could come back and see here all of the time. She could come to the games. She really likes coach Andersen.
