Rivals250 DT takes in Oregon State spring game visit
Concord (Calif.) De La Salle defensive tackle Tuli Letuligasenoa visited Oregon on March 17, and he stayed in the Beaver State for an additional day so he made the trip up to Corvallis to check out Oregon State's spring game with his family.
Letuligasenoa was the most highly decorated recruit that visited Oregon State for their massive junior day/spring game recruiting event, which hosted dozens of prospects. He is a Rivals250 prospect that is rated as the No. 7 defensive tackle in all of the 2018 class.
"Oregon State was cool," Letuligasenoa told BeaversEdge.com. "The campus was nice and everything was good. Everyone seemed like they were enjoying themselves."
The 6-foot-2, 295-pound four-star prospect intended to stay after the game to catch up with the coaching staff, but he and his family had a long drive back home, so they had to leave during the spring game.
Letuligasenoa has been in touch with the Oregon State staff, mainly coach Dave Baldwin, who has made a name for himself recruiting the northern part of California.
Oregon State offered Letuligasenoa at the end February and Baldwin has kept in touch with him since.
"He's been messaging with me and checking in with me," Letuligasenoa said. "He's a really nice guy and definitely a player's coach. He'll do anything for his players."
