Lake Oswego (Ore.) quarterback Jake Dukart is officially an Oregon State Beaver as he signed his letter of intent on Wednesday morning. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound local signal caller originally committed to OSU to play football and baseball, but all parties involved came to a decision that it be best if Dukart just focus on football. Dukart threw 33 touchdowns and just five interceptions leading Lake Oswego to an 11-2 record.

Quotable: "It was awesome -- finally getting to put faces to Twitter handles of the commits," Dukart said after his OSU official visit. "They're a bunch of good guys, and they all have the same motivation as I do for Oregon State, to turn that program around. Coach Smith, coach Riley, coach Lindgren, and all of the other guys were awesome guys, and it was cool to finally meet them and hear about their lives. It was cool to get those background stories and build relationships with."
