READ: Q&A with OSU Director of Player Personnel Vincent Guinta || Q&A with OSU signee Craig Evans || Q&A with OSU signee Jake Luton

When do you get to Corvallis and start classes?

Hodgins: "I'm leaving for Oregon State on January 4, and my first day of classes and everything is on the 9th."

What is your excitement level like right now? Has it finally set in that your Oregon State career is about to start?

Hodgins: "It's still kind of getting there. It's starting to hit me a little bit more now. I'm really excited to get up there and start my new career and new life."

As a recruit, you were highly ranked and highly recruited, what was it like going through that whole process with coaches hitting you up and all of that?

Hodgins: "It was a fun process. Kids dream of having their dream colleges chasing after you. At the same time, it's also a stressful process, because this decision affects the rest of your life. It's bittersweet, but overall, it was a really fun and good process."

You were considering Nebraska, and the Nebraska fans on Twitter are crazy. I know even Oregon and Oregon State fans were tweeting at you. What was your view of the fans tweeting you?
