CORVALLIS, Ore. – Raegan Beers added another accolade to her already impressive Oregon State career on Friday when she was named a Lisa Leslie Award finalist.

The Lisa Leslie Award, in its seventh year, recognizes the top centers in Division I women’s college basketball. It is named after the three-time All-American, 1994 National Player of the Year, and Class of 2015 Hall of Famer.

Beers became OSU's 11th All-American yesterday when she was named a second-team choice by The Athletic. She was named an All-America regional finalist last season by the WBCA.

The sophomore added to the trophy case after earning all-conference honors for the second straight year. The star post leads the Beavs with 17.7 points and 10.6 rebounds per game, one of 25 players nationally averaging a double-double.

She was named to the Lisa Leslie Award Top 10 finalists and ranks second in the country in field goal percentage (67%). An impact defender, Beers' Her Hoop Stats defensive rating (77.3) ranks second in the conference behind just defensive player of the year Cameron Brink. Her PER (Player Efficiency Rating) is 41.7, also second in the Pac-12 behind Brink and fifth in the nation.

In addition to being All-Pac-12 and an All-America regional finalist, Beers was the Pac-12's Freshman and Sixth Player of the Year last season. She joins a long line of All-American posts at Oregon State that includes Carol Menken, Ruth Hamblin, and Marie Gulich.

Beers and the Beavs battle Stanford in the Pac-12 Semifinals on Friday. The game tips at 5 p.m. and will be broadcast on Pac-12 Network.
