- Like the first day of practice, the second day wasn’t super intense, as the team installed schemes for the offensive, defensive, and special teams.

- Although it’s the first week of spring ball, the players look more comfortable in the new system with the installation periods. Observing practices, the offense is a more quarterback-friendly scheme that allows for easy completions to guys out of the backfield and across the field.

- Linebackers Melvin Jordan IV and Isaiah Chisom were making plays all over the field. Jordan IV had a pass breakup in practice... So far, the defense's strength is the secondary and linebackers in spring ball.

FULL PRACTICE REPORT

- Over to the offensive side of the ball, newcomer Jordan Anderson has been seeing more of an expanded role in practices today. During team periods, he worked with the second-team offense and had a spectacular catch over the middle on a crossing route.

Special teams

- Max Walker looked great punting the ball today, had some short punts but when he got into a rhythm he was booming the football deep down the field. Walker is also the team’s backup kicker to Everett Hayes.
