Practice Nuggets

- The cornerback position is still thin with depth as Shawn Wilson and Isaiah Dunn both sat out of practice today.

- Darell Garretson took reps with the second team offense today with the departure of Marcus McMaryion. Garretson will be a unique second string QB as the coaches could utilize his running ability as well as his accuracy outside of the pocket.

- Calvin Tyler Jr continues to impress at running back, his vision, low center gravity, and ability to break tackles reminds me a lot of Jacquizz Rodgers. Keep an eye on the kid, he's impressive.

- The defense today brought a lot of pressure from multiple angles. This is a very good sign because it shows that the coaches are confident in the defensive backs to win their 1-on-1 battles which is exactly what you want as a defensive coordinator.
