August 22nd Practice Nuggets

-Jake Luton looked game ready today. He was sharp, calm and landing passes where he needs too. It's apparent to me that he is as locked in as he can be. With landing the deep passes and showing the leadership he did today, I’d say Luton is as ready as he can be.

-Darell Garretson has been showing much improvement with his deep passes. From the looks of it, he changed his mechanics of throwing. His form looks smoother and he doesn't throw off his back foot anymore. Garretson's passes are something to keep an eye on.

-Shawn Wilson and Isaiah Dunn were both full go on the practice field today. Both cornerbacks were taking reps with the second team defense. The depth is back and both look 100% ready to go. With having these guys back now the Beavers defense can mix and match the different kinds of corners they have. Whether that be quicker CB's, or more physical ones. Having this kind of talent at a position will prove to benefit the Beavers greatly.

-The cornerback position looked like this today:

First Team: Xavier Crawford, Jay Irvine

Second Team: Shawn Wilson, Isaiah Dunn

Third Team: Kyle White, Jaydon Grant
