Day 7 Practice Nuggets

- Freshmen cornerback Isaiah Dunn stood out to me today. For only being a true freshman, he was manhandling receivers today, once against Seth Collins. He was pressing receivers off the line and showed great physicality. He also took reps with the first team defense today.

- The first team offense looks to be finally running smooth with Jake Luton set as the starter, I could already see the chemistry being built between Luton and Isaiah Hodgins as they connected three times, each reception being over ten yards.

- Kammy Delp took reps with the first team offense today. I think it was to get Delp more comfortable running with the ones in case of an injury to either guards on the offensive line.

- I had the chance to get a good look at Trajon Cotton today. He delivered a big hit today and broke up a pass. The kid has good size and speed, his play style is much like former OSU safety Ryan Murphy.

- Jaydon Grant has been breaking up passes left and right. Today, he broke up a pass thrown by Darell Garretson. It seems like anytime a ball is thrown his way more than likely he will break it up. It's going to be interesting to see if he can make his way up to the first team since he has been impressive since the spring.
