Oregon State Football Signee: Jack Colletto

The Beavers have now landed junior college quarterbacks in back-to-back years with Jack Colletto signing with Oregon State. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder was a Gatorade high school player of the year in the state of Washington in 2016 but didn't see his recruiting options blow up like he wanted to, so as a full academic qualifier, Colletto opted to go the junior college route to increase his options. Colletto will enroll at OSU in time for spring football as a true sophomore. As a true freshman at Arizona Western College in 2017, Colletto completed 39-of-67 passes for 548 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception as the backup on the NJCAA national runner-up team behind Virginia signee Bryce Perkins.

Quotable: "I enjoyed my visit, and I just wanted to see the school and the facilities along with the coaches and how they interacted," Colletto said following his visit. "They were all first class people and the coaches just told me their vision for the program which seemed promising. Both coach Smith and Lindgren [are] good people with bright minds."
