Oregon State Football Signee: Deshon Wilson

Wilson was Oregon State's first commitment of the 2018 class and is now officially a Beaver. Wilson, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound three-star cornerback, committed to the Beavers in March without ever visiting OSU's campus, and he actually went nine months without actually ever seeing campus. Wilson loved Oregon State went he took his official visit recently and wasn't phased by Oregon State not having a defensive backs coach. Wilson is a physical cornerback that has the potential to play early.

Quotable: "One of the main highlights was the school and how everything is so close together -- as far as classes and practice facilities," Wilson said after his official visit. "I must've gained five pounds up there; I ate so much. Everyone treated me well. This class that's coming in is really special. I'm looking forward to playing with those guys."
