With the 2021 NFL Draft now in the rearview mirror, BeaversEdge.com breaks down where Oregon state's players landed in this draft roundup.

Oregon State defensive back Nahshon Wright was the first Beaver to hear his name called during the NFL Draft as Dallas selected him with the 99th pick in the third round.

The 6-foot-4, 188-pounder played in 18 games over two seasons for the Beavers recording 64 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and five interceptions. He also recorded one sack and was credited with 11 pass deflections during his OSU career.

New Cowboys' defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and GM Jerry Jones certainly found themselves drawn to Wright's length and athleticism as he's exactly what they're looking for in rebuilding the defense.

Quinn, who helped build Seattle's Legion of Boom defense, knows what it takes to build an elite secondary and sees boatloads of potential in the former Beaver. Dallas struggled against the pass in 2020 (allowing just over two passing TD's per game) and Wright's presence will certainly be a welcome addition.

Despite slipping a lot further than many expected, Oregon State running back Jermar Jefferson found his NFL home over the weekend, landing with the Detroit Lions after they selected him in the seventh round.

The 5-foot-10, 217-pound back had some draft experts expecting him to be taken as high as the third or fourth round, but Jefferson ended up falling to one of the final picks of the seventh round.

"I feel like there was nothing else I could do out there," Jefferson told Detroit reporters following his draft. "I showed my long speed out there this past year. I showed vision. Caught the ball out of the backfield. I don't know what teams were missing or that I didn't have. You know, I felt like I was the best running back in the Pac-12."

Jefferson, who had turned heads in the Pac-12 conference over the course of his college career, will be entering the situation in Detroit with a massive chip on his shoulder.

"I’ve been in this position before, you know? All my life I’ve been underrated… But hey, I’m going to show the world, I’m going to shock the world. Detroit Lions are getting everything out of me. Everything."

After going surprisingly undrafted in the NFL Draft, outside linebacker Hamilcar Rashed Jr. signed an undrafted free agent deal with the New York Jets.

Rashed, who will join defensive teammate Isaiah Dunn in New York, was one of the more surprising draft omissions as he was one of the best edge rushers available for several of the final few rounds.

The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder will be looking to return to the 2019-version of himself that was almost unblockable at the college level. He finished the '19 season with a nation-leading 22.5 tackles for loss and was tied for third in total sacks with 14.

Oregon State defensive back Isaiah Dunn didn't hear his name called during the seven rounds of the NFL Draft, but he secured his future in a big way.

The 6-foot, 193-pounder signed a one-year deal that is the largest dollar amount ever for an undrafted defensive back. He'll get $185,000 guaranteed, which includes the base salary of $160,000 and a $25,000 signing bonus.

After an Oregon State career that saw him play in 33 games (26 starts), record 115 tackles, and notch 18 pass breakups, Dunn will be looking to make a lasting impression with the Jets as they clearly see some long-term potential in him.
