Oregon State's 2018 basketball recruiting class can be summed up in one word: big.
The Beavers' first commit of the class was from 7-foot-1 center Jack Wilson last October. OSU added a commitment from 6-foot-11 power forward Warren Washington a couple of weeks ago, and the Beavs landed what should be their final scholarship recruit in the '18 class in 7-foot, 205-pound big man Kylor Kelley.
Kelley originally committed to Oregon State over the summer with the intentions of enrolling at OSU for the fall term, but he wasn't able to due to all of his prior credits not transferring over. He transferred to Lane Community College in Eugene instead.
He decommitted from OSU, received offers from Utah, Utah State, and Washington State, and took official visits to the two Utah schools.
Kelley officially visited Oregon State over the weekend and announced his decision to commit to the Beavers on Monday night.
"I decommitted this summer to make sure OSU was truly the right place for me," Kelley said in his announcement. "Now I know in my heart it truly is. I committed to OSU basketball this weekend on my visit, but now it's time to get it done in the classroom. I want to take the Beaver coaching staff for giving me this opportunity to continue to play the sport I love and my mother for her endless support and love through this process."

Kelley, who will come to Oregon State as a redshirt junior, detailed his official visit at Oregon State with BeaversEdge.com.
"It was fun. I had a great time," Kelley said. "I watched their Friday morning practice, went and got some lunch, met with all of the academic people, and had all of my meetings Friday. They all went great. I liked all of the people that I was meeting with, especially on the academic side and how they keep track of their athletes.
"After some relaxing, we went to dinner. I got a calzone at Big River; it was really, really good. They spoiled us. After that, I hung out with some of the younger guys at the dorms."
"On Saturday, we watched practice before they scrimmaged. We went to tailgate and got some really good food. We got to go down on the field during pregame. I had a great time on the sideline. We were in the student section and had really fun during that. Overall, it was a really fun weekend."
Oregon State has locked up their 2018 class with the addition of Kelley, and they made it known to him over the weekend that they really wanted him.
"They were definitely pushing for me," said Kelley. "They told me that I was the one they were offering the scholarship to."
Kelley can play center or even power forward at Oregon State.
"I know Oregon State told me that they're going to have me at the 4," Kelley said.
