Whetzel joins Beaver family
Kee Whetzel added a late offer from Oregon State and chose to fly across the country to visit Corvallis this weekend. That visit has helped him find his future home.
Saturday night, the 6-foot-4 athlete from Clearwater, Florida made it official after spending time with coaches and other future teammates.
"It felt like my second family," Whetzel told BeaverBlitz shortly after committing to Coach Andersen. "It felt like home."
The Beavers are looking to close out the 2016 class on a strong note. BeaverBlitz will have more from Whetzel and the other visitors tomorrow after they complete their official visits.
