3 Things We Learned
1. Conor Blount will be starter if Luton isn’t healthy
With starting quarterback Jake Luton still in concussion protocol following OSU’s 77-31 loss to Ohio State on Saturday, head coach Jonathan Smith announced that sophomore QB Conor Blount would be the Beavers’ starter if Luton isn’t able to go. According to Smith, Luton is day-to-day in protocol and that his availability for Saturday will be determined by his progress in protocol and whether or not he practices Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If Luton is unable to go, the Beavers will hand the keys over to Blount who went 12-of-19 for 169 yards and two touchdowns against the Buckeyes.
