The state of Oregon's top recruit in the 2018 class, Talanoa Hufanga, worked out with Oregon State quarterback Jake Luton on Tuesday.
Taylor Barton from Root Sports tweeted the picture above, and he also tweeted out a picture with OSU wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins, who worked out with them as well.
Hufanga is a highly coveted four-star prospect from Corvallis (Ore.) Crescent Valley H.S. The 6-foot-1, 191-pound Rivals250 athlete can play multiple positions, and the Beavers prefer Hufanga as a safety.
Oregon State was the first school to offer Hufanga as a sophomore. Other schools such as Alabama, Nebraska, Michigan, Oregon, Nebraska, USC, among others, are in the mix for Hufanga's services.
Working out with Luton could have given Hufanga a look at what his freshman season could be like at OSU if he does end up playing wide receiver.
As a junior, Hufanga did it all. He threw for 846 yards and seven touchdowns as well as rushing for 643 yards and 17 scores.
