Seth Collins enrolls early

Oregon State University head football coach Gary Andersen announced Thursday that quarterback Seth Collins has signed a financial aid agreement to join the Beavers' program. Collins has been admitted to OSU and began classes this week.
The 6-foot-4, 180-pound dual-threat athlete played his senior season at Granite Hills High School in El Cajon, Calif. He helped the Eagles to a 9-4 record and to the CIF San Diego Section Semifinals as a senior in 2014.

After missing more than half of his junior season following a transfer from Helix High School, Collins threw for 1,013 yards, rushed for 988 yards and accounted for 29 touchdowns.
Collins, who graduated from Granite Hills in December, will participate in Beaver spring practices, which begin the week of March 2 and conclude with the Spring Game April 18 at Reser Stadium.
