Robinson checks in after visit

Gresham (Oregon) Gresham linebacker Emony Robinson has been committed to Oregon State since May, but this weekend he made his way to Corvallis for his official visit. Hunter Jarmon and Xavier Crawford served as hosts for the 6-foot-1, 190 pound local prospect.

"It was good, it was really fun," Robinson said of the visit.

While Robinson played both ways in high school the Beavers have recruited him to play defense. For the Gophers he played in the secondary, but Oregon State have their sights set on him playing linebacker.

"Yeah I talked with Coach Clune and I will most likely play outside linebacker," he said.

Robinson is also slated to greyshirt for the Beavers.

"I am greyshirting and will be on campus January 2017," he confirmed.

Stay tuned to BeaverBlitz as we continue to check in with this weekend's visitors.
