"I'm honored that my peers respect me to vote me as one of their captains," Reynolds said.
Cooks, a junior wide receiver from Stockton, Calif., is coming of a Pac-12 Honorable Mention season. He enters the year as a recently anointed Phil Steele's Preseason Third Team All-American with 1,542 yards and is on pace to join Mike Hass and James Newson as the Beavers' all-time 3,000-yard receivers.
"I feel honored to be a captain; we have a lot of leaders on this team," Cooks said. "I'm thankful to my teammates that they have the trust in me to be a team captain."
Enger is one of the more underrated players on the team. The offensive guard from Bothell, Wash., was also a Pac-12 Honorable Mention selection last season. He has started 21 games.
Doctor is the team's active leader for tackles with 172 stops at his linebacker position. The senior from Tulsa, Okla., has started 24 straight games and led the 2012 team for tackles with 83. Doctor has also accounted for 15 tackles-for-loss and three interceptions.
Mannion was the first sophomore in school history to have the team captain honor last season. The quarterback enters the season fifth at OSU for career passing yards and touchdowns with 5,774 and 31, respectively.
