Oregon State signed 12 recruits on December 20, and after a month hiatus of new commitments, the Beavers are now rolling.

The Beavers picked up two commitments on Saturday in John McCartan and Jeromy Reichner, and Jemar Jefferson committed on Sunday.

The Beavs now have five new commitments in three days as Elk River (Minn.) defensive tackle Ronald Audette and Walnut Creek (Calif.) Northgate outside linebacker Semisi Saluni pledged their commitments to OSU.

Audette visited Oregon State on the weekend of January 19 and loved his time in Corvallis. He visited Missouri this past weekend, and the Tigers had a scholarship offer on the table for him, but the 6-foot-3, 295-pounder chose the Beavs.

"I loved all the one on one time with the coaches and building relationships with them," Audette said of his OSU visit. "The facilities were great and have everything you could possibly need. The campus was pretty close together so it wouldn't take long to get anywhere on campus."

Saluni, who stands at 6-foot-4, 215-pounds, will not arrive at Oregon State until 2020 as he plans to take an LDS mission trip after high school. By then, he will be a very mature true freshman who will fit well at OSU.

“Coaches were telling me that I’ll be a prefect fit for the defense, and that even as a person, they really liked how I stood out to them," Saluni said. "The coaching staff is great and I have respect for them all."

Since Saluni will not enroll until 2020, he does not count against this year's scholarship numbers. The Beavers have room to add several more recruits in the 2018 class.
