Practice Nuggets from Day 5

- This was hands down the best I have seen the defense play. They were flying to the ball and they had some sort of fire lit within them, because the guys on that side of the ball had some serious juice today.

- The defensive backs today were men amongst boys. It seemed like every ball that was in the air they took away. their coverage was outstanding.

- Safety Drew Kell was on another level today, knocking down multiple passes and playing great defense. It's easy to see the kid is working hard as ever for some playing time outside of special teams.

- There is no doubt in my mind now that Thomas Tyner is in elite running back form. Today it was easy to see that he has his groove back. This guy was moving and grooving, with cutbacks, spin moves and burst of speeds much like we witnessed back when the University of Oregon’s made a national title run.

- Elu Aydon was back with the first team defense today. He looks to be back in shape and it's very apparent the defensive line is happy to have him back. With him being in shape and feeling good, it's safe to say that the defensive line will be much improved from last year.
