Oregon State has made another late addition to their 2021 recruiting class, this time being defensive back Skyler Thomas from Menlo Park, California.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound corner will be another lengthy addition for OSU, and chose the Beavers over offers from Cal, UNLV, Northern Arizona, and UC Davis.
Thomas was originally set to take the JUCO route and attend the College of San Mateo, but recently visited Corvallis and had a private workout with the Oregon State staff. After liking what they saw, the Beavs jumped in with an offer, and now Thomas is headed to Oregon State.
Menlo Atherton is a school that Oregon State has recruited fairly hard under Jonathan Smith and Co, and Thomas' commitment may put them in better shape for guys like Jalen Moss as well as Jeremiah Earby, who recently visited Corvallis.
The Beavers have plenty of depth in their secondary after Thomas' addition, with 15 scholarship defensive backs according to our official scholarship chart.
