Oregon State Football Signee: Jesiah Irish

Recent Oregon State commit Jesiah Irish is now a Beaver signee. The Snoqualmie (Wash.) Mount Si wide receiver committed to Oregon State after his official visit a couple days ago. Irish was offered by OSU a week and a half ago and instantly jumped to the top of his list. Irish chose OSU over BYU, Hawaii, and others. Irish is a speedy receiver that can stretch the field or get yards after catch for the Beavers.

Quotable: "I loved coach Lindgren and what he's about," Irish said. "We talked and both of those coaches have a history of coming from something that wasn't great and turning it into a winner. That appealed to me. With coach Smith, I've known him for about a year and a half. We had a good relationship when he was at Washington. I've seen him at camps and games at U-Dub. To be a part of that first recruiting class he has [is] pretty cool."
