Oregon State Football Signee: Isaac Hodgins

The younger (and larger) brother of Oregon State WR Isaiah Hodgins has signed with the Beavers, as Walnut Creek (Calif.) Berean Christian defensive tackle Isaac Hodgins inked with the Beavers on National Signing Day. Hodgins was Oregon State's second commitment of the Beavers' 2018 class, making his commitment back in March after OSU's spring game. Hodgins ranks as the No. 74 overall prospect and in the state of California.

Quotable: "I am solid with going to OSU and the current coaching staff they have there, and coach Smith assured me that they are getting some great defensive [coaches], but it takes time to get really good coaches," Hodgins said following his official visit. "He assured me that the next D-line coach will be a great coach and that I'd like him a lot. I have an idea of who it is, but they're not sure yet -- it will be soon that he is announced."
