Moore commits on visit

The first major official visit recruiting weekend for Coach Andersen and his staff is currently underway. On Saturday night, safety Jalen Rakim Moore added to the excitement by verbally committing to play for Oregon State.
The 6-1, 190 pound safety from Upland, California earned an offer on Saturday afternoon and then announced via his Twitter account later in the evening that he was committed play at Oregon State.

"The trip is going awesome," Moore told BeaverBlitz on Saturday afternoon.
Wide receiver Jordan Villamin was serving as Moore's host.
"I'm a big physical playmaker and I like to play fast," Moore said. "I also like to be a team leader and help generate excitement and passion for the game. Even as a freshman, I wouldn't be afraid of leading."
Stay tuned to BeaverBlitz as we continue to follow the recruits that are on campus this weekend, including Taylor Thomas, Treston DeCoud, and Jay Irvine.
