Liku discusses Oregon State spring practice visit

Anyone who is familiar with Oregon State's depth chart knows that the Beavers need help on their defensive line.

One of their top 2019 defensive tackle targets was on campus last week for spring practice as Oakland (Calif.) defensive tackle Siale Liku was in Corvallis.

"The visit was great to be honest," Liku said. "Some of the main highlights of the trip was interacting with the players and coaches, viewing the campus all around, putting on some of the gear, and just having a great time learning from my position group.

"Something that stood out to me there was how welcoming [they were], which built a relationship that I received very quickly with everyone, especially with [Polynesian] players which is a common thing."

While Liku was on campus, the OSU coaching staff made sure to make him feel like a priority, which he certainly is.

"I know how much they'd love to have me around, especially [defensive quality control assistant] coach Lose," said Liku.

Liku does hold an offer from Oregon State though he never announced it on his Twitter account.

The 6-foot-3, 311-pound recruit also visited Stanford, Fresno State, and Cal since the calendar turned to 2018.
