Blount has incredible day
Last week when I wrote about Conor Blount's analytics, I pointed out how he graded way too low when under pressure and needed to improve when under duress. Against SUU, Blount greatly improved in this area.
According to PFF's advanced analytics, Blount faced pressure seven times, and he had a 72.4 offensive grade on those plays. He completed four of six passes for 77 yards on the seven plays under pressure.
In all, Blount was Oregon State's highest graded offensive player. PFF graded him at an incredible 92.3.
Blount finished with 226 yards passing and a touchdown on 15-of-22 passing on 25 drop backs. Just like last week against Ohio State, Blount only played in the first half.
Scroll down and you can see Blount's passing chart, once again thanks to PFF's advanced analytics that BeaversEdge.com has partnered with.
The farther down the field, the Blount was graded, which was fantastic. You have to love to see him completing pases all over the field.
