After losing in a heartbreaking battle to No. 20 Stanford, you'd think that Oregon State interim head coach Cory Hall could use a chill Friday at the office.

But is that Hall's style? Nope. He's out on the recruiting trail instead.

Hall is making a trip down to southern California, which was his primary recruiting area as Oregon State's cornerbacks coach, to check out a couple of high school football games in L.A.

BeaversEdge.com learned that Hall will check in at Manual Arts vs Dorsey and Salesian vs L.A. Cathedral.

On Dorsey's roster, there is three-star tight end Isaiah Smalls, who is a vocal leader for Oregon State's 2018 recruiting class.

Another notable 2018 prospect from Dorsey is UNLV defensive end commit Timothy Mosley. In the class of 2019, Oregon State has offered three-star running back Charles Mincy Jr.

Los Angeles Cathedral has been a good school to Oregon State recently. The Beavers landed signees from Arex Flemings and Jeffrey Manning in the class of 2017.

In this year's class at Cathedral, Oregon State is looking to flip Victor Terry from Washington State. Halid Djibril was formerly committed to the Beavers but is a longshot to end up at OSU.

Hall doesn't lack energy, and he'll take his charisma out on the recruiting front on Friday night.
