Four-star lineman decides on Beavers
The Oregon State Beavers have seen their early 2012 recruiting efforts pay off huge dividends. BeaverBlitz has just confirmed that four-star lineman Isaac Seumalo has pulled the trigger and will play his college football in Corvallis.
One of the nation's premier line prospects, Seumalo is being recruited as an offensive lineman, but is equally comfortable playing on the defensive side as well. This is huge news for the Oregon State program who now have commitments from two four-star prospects including wide receiver Malik Gilmore.

"Yes I am a Beaver," Seumalo said via text. "I spoke to Coach Riley about an hour ago and made the commitment."
"I've been around to all of the schools and seen them all and this is home," he said. "My Dad is here and it will be great to have the opportunity to play for Coach Cav and Coach Riley too."
Seumalo told the coaches in person and he said that they were all excited.
"Coach Riley was super excited and Coach Brennan was there too and he was happy," he said. "I spoke to Coach Cav and he was ecstatic. Really everyone was excited."
The happiness also spilled over to his family.
"Yeah, my Mom is glad that I'm going to be around and so is my Dad," he laughed. "I'm glad that I've made a decision and that it was my decision. I'm where I wanted to be. I guess I thought I would drag it out, but this just feels right and after visiting everywhere I knew that."
With his decision made, Seumalo is looking forward to his phone quieting so that he can focus on the season ahead with his Corvallis Spartan teammates. He also hopes to help the Beavers bring more top prospects who can join him at Oregon State.
"I definitely want to play with the best guys that I can, who want to play at Oregon State," he said. "There are already so many great players on the team, but I want to help bring more guys and I've met a lot of them at camps."
"I always thought 'hey, I'd like to play with this guy or that guy,' but I never really thought that I'd be 'that guy' who people want to play with," he continued. "I want to do whatever I can do to make my team at OSU better."
Seumalo has wowed everyone during the spring camp circuit. Several in attendance at the NIKE Camp in Eugene earlier this month said that he was the most technically sound lineman they had seen in years as he dominated the line of scrimmage.
