to John Bates, Javonte Ferguson, Mason Moran, and Joah Robinett for helping to lead their teams to victories this past week.
John Bates
Tight End
Lebanon, OR
The Warriors beat Portland-Jefferson 34-6 on Friday night to jump to 2-0 on the year. Bates had one catch at tight end and had some rushing yards as the quarterback (he is the team's back-up quarterback and was able to go in for a series). On defense he had 2.5 sacks. The Warriors play South Eugene on September 11.

Oregon City, OR
Trevon Bradford and his Oregon City teammates lost the 'Battle of the Bridge' game against West Linn on Friday night, by a score of 40-28. He scored two of the Pioneers touchdowns on the night. Up next, the Pioneers travel to Lake Oswego, OR to take on Lakeridge.
Javonte Ferguson

Orange Park, FL
Oakleaf blasted past Orange Park 44-7 on Friday night, including a 34 yard touchdown grab by Ferguson to give them a 20-0 lead early. The Knights are now 2-0 on the season. The Knights now travel to Jesup, GA for a non-conference match-up against Wayne County this Friday.
Mason Moran
Quarterback
Chandler, AZ
Moran led the Wolves to a 22-10 win over Chaparral. This week Moran was 12-25 for 90 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed 10 times for 111 yards and a touchdown. They take on Desert Ridge on Thursday night in Chandler.

Bellevue, WA
The Wolverines open their season with a big game against Las Vegas (Nev) Bishop Gorman on Friday night.
Artavis Pierce
Running Back
Auburndale, FL
Pierce and his Bloodhound teammates lost 35-6 to Lakeland, Florida. They have a bye to regroup and then take on Bartow.
Joah Robinett
Defensive End
San Marcos, CA
The Knights blanked Chula Vista 50-0 last Friday night. Robinett had two sacks, eight tackles and a batted pass. The previous week against Oceanside he had a sack, 12 tackles and a blocked field goal. Up next, Robinett and his teammates take on Escondido on Friday night. He also confirmed that he will be taking his official visit to campus for the San Jose State game on September 19.

Gresham, OR
The Gophers lost their first game of the season to Canby, 40-7 last Saturday night. Robinson had 'no comment' after the game regarding his performance. Up next, Gresham will travel to Eugene to take on Willamette on Friday night.
