COMMITMENT: Beavs land Texas lineman

Jacob Jimenez, a 6-foot-4, 265 pound offensive lineman from Pflugerville, Texas is the latest to commit to Coach Riley and the Beavers.

Jimenez is currently in Corvallis, checking out the program and confirmed with me via text that he has committed to Oregon State.

He has been an under the radar recruit who has attended limited camps. He did attend Nike Camp this past year in Houston, where he put up the top SPARQ score for defensive linemen. He's played varsity football since his sophomore year in the very competitive Pflugerville area, and has been recruited by Coach Cavanaugh as an offensive lineman.

He has a good build and is lean, moves very well on his feet and ran a 5.1--40, which isn't bad for his size.
