Before his junior season of football, McDonald didn’t have a scholarship offer at all. Cal offered him his first scholarship at the beginning of the season and it wasn’t until 2017 that everything really took off.
Now, the 6-foot-5 and 305-pound prospect has scholarship offers from Arizona State, Cal, Hawaii, Oregon State and UCLA. Texas Christian and USC are also talking with McDonald and it seems like either program could eventually offer a scholarship.
