Bradford goes in-depth on decision

Trevon Bradford couldn't be happier to have a future at Oregon State and he broke down the reasons for his decision when BeaverBlitz.com caught up with him recently.
It was clear that Bradford was thrilled when Oregon State first offered, and it didn't take the Oregon City receiver long to settle on Gary Andersen's program. He committed on May 5 and isn't having any second thoughts.

"I felt comfortable there," Bradford said. "I went up there and met with some of the coaches, like Coach Andersen, and they just made it feel like it would be the right fit for me. It's close to home and that's nice."
Bradford was in Corvallis two Sundays ago. That's when he knew it could be a place for him.
"I had been on a visit before and they kind of reiterated some of the changes they're making with the renovation of the locker room and some of the things, like the blueprints and everything," Bradford said. "The locker room will be expanded and like 53 yards wide or something like that. You'll be able to walk right out."
Andersen made Bradford feel right at home and so did some other coaches.
"Coach Woods, the offensive line coach, is the recruiter for this area. And I know Coach Brennan just from being around him a couple of times," Bradford explained.
How they spelled out Bradford's role in their plans made him feel wanted. It also got him excited about the future, as he now believes he can be a featured component for the program.
"At first they wanted me to play defense," he said. "But then Coach Andersen said they would use me kind of how they used Brandin Cooks. He could see me starting and being the man as soon as I get on campus and that gave me a little bit of confidence hearing that."
