Big TE commits to Oregon State

Recruiting has been fast and furious over the past two weeks and yesterday the Oregon State coaches received word that one of their top tight end prospects has committed to being a Beaver.
Renton (Wash.) Kentridge tight end Caleb Smith chose Oregon State from double digit offers including Washington, Washington State, UCLA, Colorado and Purdue. The 6-foot-7, 240 pound athlete impressed coaches with his size, speed and soft hands.
