With Oregon State's scrimmage in Bend wrapped up, it seems like a safe bet that senior quarterback Jake Luton will be the starting quarterback next week when the Beavers take on Ohio State in Columbus.

The starter may be named during Oregon State head coach Jonathan Smith's press conference on Monday.

"I feel good on Monday, I think," Smith said about announcing his starter. "We're going to look at this tape. We've kind of pinpointed that as we've gone along. I won't say 100%, but I feel good right now."
